Hi my name is Brody Gerow and I am 11 years old and going to be in 5th grade at Willapa Valley.  This is my second year doing 4-H and I am a member of the Beef Busters 4-H club. Last year I auctioned my first pig, Tank. It was an amazing learning experience and it taught me a lot of responsibility. It taught me not only how to properly take care of my market animal but I also gained skills in public speaking and presenting in front of judges and an audience. This year I purchased 2 pigs with my earnings from the auction last year. Bubblegum is the one pictured and is my market animal.  I have been feeding them Purina Grower Finisher feed daily along with fruits and vegetables. Their favorite is watermelon. They get exercised regularly and love spending time with our chickens. The money that I earn through my market animal is going into my savings account to fund future projects and to save for life after high school graduation.
