My name is Luke Merkel and this is my second year auctioning a hog. I am 12 years old and a proud member of Guy’s Homegrown Helpers. Last year, I was fortunate to receive incredible support from the bidders, and I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for your generosity. The skills and responsibilities I’ve gained from raising these animals, such as using the best products and best practices, have been invaluable. This year, I’m hoping to use my earnings to save for college or towards the purchase of my first vehicle. Thank you for considering my hog and supporting young farmers like me!
